Cleat Johnson Park

The land was given by to Livermore by the Rowan family years ago. The McLean County School System pays for a person to take care of the park as they do at all the schools. The duties are mainly to oversee the grounds. The Livermore Playground Committee is the driving force behind the activities at the park.

Livermore RV Park

The city has, with grant monies, in-kind labor and tax dollars, found a source of revenue. Thirty-one rental lots with electricity, water and sewer hookups are now available. Three picnic shelters are available and can be used by the public. Swing sets and a bathhouse are also on site.

Livermore Riverfront Park

Over the years the city has, through volunteers, created a pavilion, the Livermore Memorial Walkway and the new Council and Mayor's Walkway. The Livermore Enhancement Foundation and a committee composed of retired Veterans have contributed funding for these projects through the selling of bricks and donations. The city received a $40,000 grant in 2001, which was divided between the three parks: the Riverfront Park, the Memorial Walkway and the RV Park.

 Nature Trail

This is located near the Livermore Riverfront Park. It stretches along the beautiful Rough River and is available to all for a unique hiking experience.

West End Park

This park has a full-sized basketball court, swings, and a slide.

Boat Ramps

The older ramp is located at the end of Main Street and has been restored several times by the City. The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife created another ramp, which is located at the Livermore RV Park and has a parking lot to accommodate parking for visitors.

Livermore Depot Park

The Livermore Depot Park has a landscaped paved walking track which features a big red caboose, on the east side of Livermore. Plans are in the works for a train museum. The railroad was an important part of Livermore's history.

Tennis Courts

The tennis courts are located near the Livermore Riverfront Park and are open to the public.
