2013 Amgen Tour of California Stage 7 Start in Livermore
City Departments - Economic Development
 Location: Start at Carnegie Park
The Amgen Tour of California is a Tour de France-style cycling road race. The City is proud to serve as host to the start of Stage 7 from Downtown Livermore to the top of Mt. Diablo. Hosting this race brings international awareness about Livermore, fills our hotels, brings residents and visitors to our restaurants and stores, creates a family friendly fun experience, and generates new revenues for the City.

The cyclists will start in Downtown Livermore at Carnegie park, turn onto First Street before making their way out on North Livermore Avenue as they head to through Contra Costa County, and the towns of Byron and Mountain House. They pass back through Livermore mid afternoon before they make their ascent up to the peak of Mt. Diablo for the exciting Mountain Top Finish. It will be a true King of the Mountain race!
