Wednesday Storytime for Toddlers

 Location: Civic Center Children's Storytime Room
Have fun singing, dancing, reading, and listening as we encourage early literacy during storytime for toddlers (walkers to age 3)! If you can't make this storytime on Wednesdays, there are two sessions on Mondays. 

Please note that Toddler Storytime seating is limited at the Civic Center Library.  Please arrive early enough to get your free ticket to enter the event.

(Library storytimes are free of charge.)

Homework Hangout @ Rincon
Library - Homework Hangout
 Location: Rincon Library
Homework Hangout is a free after-school program where students come on a drop-in basis to receive assistance with their homework. An adult is in the room to provide help and answer questions. We have computers to aid students in writing their reports, a color printer available for printing pictures, and supplies students may use. The hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 2pm-5pm. All ages welcome.

Oversight Board of the Livermore Successor Agency of the Livermore Redevelopment Agency
Mayor & City Council - General Meetings
The Oversight Board of the Livermore Sucessor Agency to the Livermore Redevelopment Agency meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 3:30 pm, at the Livermore City Council Chambers, 3575 Pacific Avenue, Livermore, CA  94550.

It is anticipated the next Oversight Board meeting will be held in October 2014.  If necessary, a special meeting notice will be posted at that time.

Beautification Committee Duties & Responsibilities

The Committee makes recommendations to the City Council regarding:

  1. Park, roadside, median island and entranceway beautification.
  2. Private property maintenance standards.
  3. Street tree, ancestral tree and public area landscaping standards.
  4. Street decorations.
  5. Arbor Day Celebration.
  6. Livermore Beautification Master Plan.
  7. Special events related to beautification
