Readers’ Theater featuring: “A Good Year”
Library - Livermore Reads Together
Location: Civic Center Library Storytime Room
Readers’ Theater of Shakespeare’s Associates reenacts the funny and lighthearted adventures of Max Skinner as he leaves London to become a gentleman winemaker in Provence.

As his professional life collapses around him, Skinner receives notice that he has inherited a farmhouse and vineyard in Provence. Max abandons the world of finance and sets off to become a gentleman winemaker in France. Once there, Max takes in the local scenery and the local women.  But Max soon realizes that the wine label he inherited, Le Griffon, is virtually undrinkable, and he has to find a solution to the problems inherent in producing a wine that nobody wants to drink.

Volunteers from Shakespeare’s Associates offer this readers’ theater rendition of “A Good Year,” directed by Donna Blevins.

This event is part of Livermore Reads Together 2015, a community-wide reading program generously sponsored by The Friends of the Livermore Library.
