Funding Cycle

July 1 Start of program year and project implementation.
August All agencies funded the previous fiscal year are required to submit a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). The Human Services Commission reviews the CAPER along with the performance of the agency receiving funding
September Performance reviews are sent to Livermore City Council and to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
November Human Services Commission reviews application cycle for the next fiscal year.
December (TBA) Application workshop in Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton. Please contact us for additional details.
December (TBA) City begins accepting CDBG application for the next fiscal year.
January (TBA) Applications are due.
March (TBA) Human Services Commission holds public hearing and reviews application submitted for funding. All agencies applying for funding will make a presentation before the Commission. Funding recommendations will be provided to the Livermore City Council.
April (TBA) Livermore City Council reviews recommendations and adopts which projects to fund.
April City Staff mails award letters.
May Action Plan for funding is submitted to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
June City Staff completes contracts with all agencies receiving CDBG funding.
