Garaventa Hills Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR)

The City of Livermore, as lead agency, is circulating a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Garaventa Hills project for public review. Garaventa Hills is a proposal for a 76-unit single-family residential subdivision on an approximately 31.7 acre undeveloped parcel located north of Garaventa Ranch Road and Hawk Street, west of Bear Creek Drive and Laughlin Road. The proposal includes the extensions of Bear Creek Drive and Hawk Street with a new bridge over Altamont Creek.  

Copies of the Draft EIR are available for review during normal business hours at the Livermore Planning Division, 1052 South Livermore Avenue, Livermore Public Library Main Branch, 1000 South Livermore Avenue, and on the City’s website at www.cityoflivermore.net.  Copies are also available for purchase at the Livermore Planning Division.

The review period for the Draft EIR is from November 8, 2012 to December 26, 2012.

A public hearing to receive comments on the Draft EIR is scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting on December 4, 2012 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
