Affordable Homeownership Opportunity - Workshop March 11th. Habitat for Humanity in partnership with the City of Livermore is hosting a Workshop on March 11th to provided information about Habitat's homeownership program and information on the home currently being offered. The home is a 3-bedroom, 1-bath single-family home for sale at an affordable price to low-income (80% AMI) 3+ person households under the Veteran Homeownership Program. Affordable 'Assisted Living' rentals for seniors Heritage Estates is now accepting applications for their below market rate, Assisted Living, one-bedroom apartments. There is a minimum annual income requirement of $31,368 and a maximum income of $40,980 for a 1 person household and $46,800 for a 2 person household. The City of Livermore's Mortgage Assistance program provides a second mortgage loan for low- to moderate-income first time homebuyers who desire to live in the City of Livermore. This loan can assist with the down payment, reducing the first mortgage, and/or pay for some of the closing costs.

ECHO’s Homebuyer Education and Learning Program assists potential homebuyers by providing individual and classroom training regarding client credit counseling, homeownership incentives, home buying opportunities, and predatory lending. Is your home in need of minor repairs? Financial assistance may be available to low-income homeowners through the City's Housing Rehabilitation Loan and Grant programs. Veterans may qualify for home repairs through Habitat for Humanity's 'Veterans Home Repair' program.
Tri-Valley Rental Housing Opportunities Guide lists apartment complexes in the area that have affordable units within the complex. You will need to contact each complex you are interested in to find if they have any available units or if you could be placed on a wait list.
