2019 Beautification Awards

2019 Beautification Award Application

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2019 Beautification Awards.  For complete details, please click on the application link above.  Please remember that applications must be signed by the homeowner.  Unsigned applications will not be considered.  Please include two photos, including a “before” (if available) and “after” picture, taken from the same angle.  


Applications can be mailed, dropped off or emailed to .   


The deadline for nominations is August 14, 2019.  Winners will be recognized at the October 21, 2019 City Council Meeting.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Committee makes recommendations to the City Council regarding:

  1. Park, roadside, median island and entranceway beautification.
  2. Private property maintenance standards.
  3. Street tree, ancestral tree and public area landscaping standards.
  4. Street decorations.
  5. Arbor Day/Earth Day Celebration.
  6. Special events related to beautification
