Economic Development Specialist
Theresa De La Vega joined the City of Livermore as Economic Development Specialist in November 2009. In this capacity, Theresa develops and implements economic development initiatives, including those related to business attraction and retention, workforce development, as well as tourism and marketing.
Prior to joining Livermore, Theresa worked for the City of San Jose Office of Economic Development (work2future) as Business Services Coordinator and lead for BusinessOwnerSpace.com website development. Prior to working for local government, Theresa was active in the Silicon Valley business and non-profit community, and has received recognition from various agencies including the California State Senate, State Assembly, and State Board of Equalization for her civic contributions to the business community in Santa Clara County/Silicon Valley.
Theresa holds a Management Development for Entrepreneurs Certificate from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. She also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from De La Salle University.
