    Catherine Ralston is honorable mention for the Outstanding New Economic Developer of the Year Award by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) on September 27, 2010. She has been with the City of Livermore for over ten years.

    Catherine started her career with the City of Livermore as an Associate Planner in 1999 and was an Associate Planner prior to being promoted to her current position. While working with the Livermore Planning Division, Catherine worked as a lead for the Livermore Downtown Revitalization Project, which led her to discover her passion for the economic development field.

    Catherine holds a Masters degree in Leadership from Saint Mary's College, Moraga and a Bachelor of Science degree in Community and Regional Development from the University of California, Davis.

Theresa De La Vega joined the City of Livermore as Economic Development Specialist in November 2009. Prior to joining Livermore, Theresa worked for the City of San Jose Office of Economic Development (work2future) as Business Services Coordinator and lead for BusinessOwnerSpace.com website development. Prior to working for local government, Theresa was active in the Silicon Valley business and non-profit community, and has received awards and recognition from various agencies including the California State Senate, State Assembly, and State Board of Equalization for her civic contributions.

Theresa is currently focused on developing and implementing workforce development programs and activities in Livermore. She also coordinates programs and projects involving business attraction, retention, and growth, as well as tourism and marketing. One of her most notable projects involved serving as program lead for the Paragon Workshops and Job Fairs, which won for Livermore and its partner agencies, the 2012 Economic Development Program Award of Merit from the California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED).

Theresa holds a Management Development for Entrepreneurs Certificate from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. She also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from De La Salle University.
