Community Emergency Response Team

Community Emergency Response Team

As a part the communities' disaster response plan, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department has an active Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program.  The CERT program trains and supports members of the community to be effective emergency response volunteers in the event of a disaster.  Volunteers are taught skills such as:

  • disaster medical care
  • light search and rescue
  • team organization
  • coordination with the Fire Department

The Fire Department hosts CERT classes several times per year.  If you are interested in participating in this program, please contact us at 925-454-2361 or
