The Unified Program is comprised of six environmental and safety programs:
Businesses regulated under these programs are required to be registered in the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) and submit information required by the individual programs that are applicable to the buisiness. In addition, the Fire Department, which is the Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) for Livermore and Pleasanton reports inspection and enforcement information to this system.
The Fire Department conducts periodic inspections of businesses subject to the requirements of the Unified Program. These inspections include a Fire Code inspection.
