City of Livermore Emergency Management Plan

City of Livermore’s Updated Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) Available for Review and Comment

The HMP is available for public review and comment beginning Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Link to HMP.  The HMP updates the 2005 plan, addresses local hazard vulnerabilities, incorporates the Association of Bay Area Government’s hazard data, and lists numerous strategies to mitigate those hazards. Written comments on the HMP will be accepted by the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department through Friday, August 5, 2011. All comments must be mailed to Genevieve Pastor-Cohen, Emergency Preparedness Manager, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire, 3560 Nevada Street, Pleasanton, CA 94566.
