Who may reserve library meeting rooms?

Rincon Branch Meeting Room

  • Non-profit and commercial groups which are open to the public can reserve meeting rooms
  • Advance reservation and fee required
  • Contact Library Administration at 925-373-5500 extension 5599

Civic Center Small Conference Room and Quiet Study Rooms

  • Individuals or small groups may use the study rooms
  • Rooms may be reserved seven days ahead
  • There is a two hour limit, per party 
  • Contact the Information Services Desk at 925-373-5505 to reserve a room

What does it cost to reserve meeting rooms?

Livermore non-profit organizations with 50% resident membership:

  • $20/hour *
  • $100 per day** for less than 100 users
  • $150 per day for more than 100 users

Non-resident non-profit groups serving Livermore residents:  

  • $25/hour
  • $125 per day for less than 100 users
  • $175 per day for more than 100 users

Commercial Groups

  • $30/hour
  • $150 per day for less than 100 users
  • $200 per day for more than 100 users

*Any portion of an hour is considered an hour
**A day is more than five hours

There may be additional charges for equipment use, damage deposits, and library staff attendants if needed.

Civic Center Small Conference Room and Quiet Study Rooms are free and can be reserved up to seven days in advance for up to two hours per party. Contact the Information Services desk at 925-373-5505 to reserve one of these rooms.



When are the rooms available?

Civic Center
Monday through Thursday         10 a.m. -  9 p.m.
Friday                                     10 a.m. -  6 p.m.
Saturday                                 10 a.m. -  5 p.m.
Sunday                                   12 p.m. -  6 p.m.

  • Meetings which begin during operating hours may continue after the Library is closed.
  • Other hours available through special arrangement

Rincon
Monday             12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday       10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Friday               10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Closed - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday

  • Meetings continuing after regular business hours require a staff attendant for an additional hourly fee.

 



What equipment is available?

Equipment is available only at Civic Center for the following rooms:

Community Rooms

  • Kitchen
  • Audiovisual - Computer Connectivity, Projection Screen

Library Board Room 

  • Audiovisual - Computer Connectivity, Projection Screen


Who sets up the room?

The user is responsible for set-up and clean up. This time must be included in the paid reservation time.

    • Reservations can be made Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Reservations are available up to six months in advance.
    • Payment and a Premises Use Permit are required 10 business days (Monday-Friday) prior to the reservation.
