Anyone may obtain a Livermore Public Library card. In addition to borrowing books, DVDs, CDs, and other items, your free card allows you to: download digital media, search electronic databases, take online classes, and get free museum passes from our Digital Library.
Library card applications are available at all three Livermore Public Library branches. You may also apply online for a temporary library card (valid for 30 days) which grants use of some online databases and allows items to be placed on hold. To turn your temporary card into a permanent card, stop by any branch within 30 days to present proof of your name and address. Persons under 16 will need a parent or guardian signature to obtain a full-service juvenile card.
Livermore Public Library cards must be presented when materials are checked out. Up to 10 hold requests may be placed at a time with your card. Items checked out with a Livermore Public Library card may be returned at any Livermore branch library.
Patrons in good standing may apply for a keycard to our automated branch, open daily from 8am-8pm. Please visit Springtown Branch Easy Access for more information.
