Learn Computer Basics

Learn Computer Basics

This drop-in service will resume when we are able to re-open to the public.

The Livermore Public Library offers free Drop-In Computer Basics sessions in the Small Conference Room at the Civic Center Library, located at 1188 S. Livermore Avenue. Three sessions per month are available:
   •   The first Tuesday of the month, 10:00 – 11:00 am
   •   The first Wednesday of the month, 2:00 – 3:00 pm
   • The first Thursday of the month, 7:00 – 8:00 pm

Two Computer Tutors are present at each session to teach participants the basic skills required to operate a computer. Covered topics include creating and using an email account, printing documents, searching the internet, using the Digital Library, and using a mouse and keyboard. Computer Tutors can also connect participants with library resources that can help users learn more advanced skills.

Registration is not required. Each session lasts one hour and participants will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis. Library laptops will be available for use during the program. For questions or more information please contact Caitlyn Lung at 925-373-5576.
