This summer, the Livermore Public Library will offer a variety of storytimes for children of all ages.
Baby Storytime, a special “pre-walker” storytime, will be offered at the Civic Center Library on Tuesdays, 10:30AM with a “Stay and Play” session until 11:30 AM, June 3 to August 12, 2014.
For toddlers and children up to age 6, storytimes will be offered at the Civic Center Library Storytime Room on Mondays at 10:30 AM, June 2 through August 1, 2014.
In addition to these storytimes for younger children, the Library will offer the “Big Kids Read,” for children entering grades 1 through 5. The “Big Kids Read” program is designed for school age children and highlights nonfiction reading, educational concepts as well as fun fictional stories for older audiences. Join storyteller John Weaver as he shows off his exciting experiments and action packed stories. Audience participation is important at Big Kids Read. This program will be offered at the Civic Center Library, outside near the pepper tree, on Mondays at 10:30 AM, June 2 through August 11, 2014.
This summer the Rincon Branch Library will offer storytimes for older children, outdoors, and younger children, indoors, on Fridays at 10:30 AM, June 6 through August 15, 2014.
Also, this summer the Springtown Library will offer storytime for all ages, indoors, on Thursdays at 10:30 AM, June 5 through August 14, 2014.
And finally, for the entire family, don’t forget to check out the ever-popular “Pajama-Time Family Storytimes,” at the Civic Center Library Storytime Room on Mondays at 7:00 PM, June 2 through August 11, 2014.
