A Bicycle Tour of Corsica

Armchair Travelers, a monthly program, will take place at the Livermore Civic Center Library on Thursday, October 11, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Join international cyclist Dan Moore on a photographic revisit of his May 2012 bicycle trip to Corsica, the island birthplace of Napoleon, off the southern coast of France. Corsica is noted for its mild climate, fine charcuterie, diverse landscape of dramatic mountains and white sand beaches. Highlights of Dan’s tour included numerous mountain climbs, spectacular Mediterranean seascapes and a stay at a country inn.

Adults are invited to this free program on the second Thursday of each month in the Community Meeting Rooms of the Civic Center Library, 1188 S. Livermore Avenue, Livermore.  For additional information please call 925 373-5500.
