Fall Colors in Nova Scotia and the Canadian Maritimes

Armchair Travelers, a monthly program, will take place at the Livermore Civic Center Library on Thursday, July 11, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Richard Finn will share photographs and stories in his travel presentation, “Fall Colors in Nova Scotia & the Canadian Maritimes.” Join Richard Finn on a journey Down East from Boston to Nova Scotia (just ahead of Hurricane Kyle), visiting historic Halifax and Peggy's Cove. We will then journey on to Cape Breton Island, Prince Edward Island, Ministers Island, Campobello Island, Acadia National Park, and back to Boston, all in 15 days. There will be much to see and enjoy, including the Evangeline and Chabot trails, the Anne of Green Gables home, and that amazing fall foliage.
Adults are invited to this free program on the second Thursday of each month in the Community Meeting Rooms of the Civic Center Library.  For additional information please call 925 373-5500.
