Thanks to the generous support of Livermore local businesses, children were able to earn weekly prizes while reading to reach their goal. Independent readers who reach the final reading goal also received an Olympic-style medal, and an invitation to be presented before the City Council as a Super Reader! Complementing the Reading Program was a host of activities and entertainment—from storytimes and crafts to a magician, jugglers, music from a variety of cultures, wild animals, and puppets!
