Free Computer Classes in January

Start the year off right! Whether you are new to computers or need to brush up on your skills there is a class for you at the Livermore Public Library beginning in January. Classes are held in Community Room B and are first come, first served.
• Internet for Beginners, Wednesday, January 8, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
Learn how to use the features of Internet Explorer to open a website using an address and navigate its content.
• Computer Basics, Wednesday, January 15, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
Never used a computer? Learn how to use the mouse and keyboard, how to work with the windows 7 operating system and gain a working knowledge of computer terminology.
• Searching the Internet, Wednesday, January 22, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Need help searching the Internet? Review the features of Internet Explorer and learn how to search Google and get the best results.
• Introduction to Microsoft Word, Wednesday, January 29, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Learn the basics of word processing and how to maneuver through the Word menus and toolbars to create and edit a simple document.
