Children's Mystery Reading Program: Get a Clue!

Sign up online beginning February 1st for a month of reading mysteries. You may read throughout the month of February, read a mystery of your choice and win a prize! Read one of our selected books and win another prize!!
If you love mysteries you’ll want to be part of the Children’s Mystery Reading Program. Sign-up to participate on the library website, then read a mystery book of your choice and record the title online, and finally – go to the library to claim your mystery prize! There’s more – next you can choose one of our mystery selections and win another prize! You can choose to read: Steven Kellogg’s Mystery of the Missing Mitten (picture book), Detective Dinosaur by James Skofield (easy reader), or From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg (junior fiction). Read one of these books, log the title online, and – again come to get your prize, you’ll get a disguise that will come in handy when solving a mystery of your own. 
This free event is appropriate for preschool aged children through fourth grade.  “Get a Clue!”  is part of the 2014 Livermore Reads Together program held annually in February.
