Movie Matinee at the Library - Disney's the Great Mouse Detective

Don’t miss it: February 7, 2014, from 4:00 – 5:30 pm in the Community Rooms A and B at the Civic Center Library in Livermore, 1188 South Livermore Avenue.
Join us for an afternoon of fun with family and friends.  For your viewing pleasure the library presents Disney’s “The Great Mouse Detective”.  Follow the escapades of Basil of Baker Street, a mouse sized version of the great Sherlock Holmes.  Basil lives in the bustling city of London when in 1897 when he is visited by Olivia Flaversham, a young Scottish mouse.  She needs his help when the dastardly criminal Professor Ratigan forces her toymaker father to create a robot contraption that would help him rule England.  Basil can’t wait to get involved and foil Ratigan’s plan!
This free event is appropriate for preschool aged children through fourth grade.  “The Great Mouse Detective”  is part of the 2014 Livermore Reads Together program held annually in February.
To find out more about the program please call (925)-373-5504, or visit the library.
