Free Computer Classes in February

Whether you are new to computers or need to brush up on your skills there is a class for you at the Livermore Public Library in February. Classes are held in Community Room B and are first come, first served. 
• Computer Basics, Wednesday, February 5, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
Never used a computer?  Learn how to use the mouse and keyboard, how to work with the windows 7 operating system and gain a working knowledge of computer terminology. 
• Internet for Beginners, Wednesday, February 12, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
Learn how to use the features of Internet Explorer to open a website using an address and navigate its content.
 Searching the Internet, Wednesday, February 19, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Need help searching the Internet?  Review the features of Internet Explorer and learn how to search Google and get the best results.
• Introduction to Microsoft Word, Wednesday, February 26, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Learn the basics of word processing and how to maneuver through the Word menus and toolbars to create and edit a simple document.
