NATURE STORYTIME AT SYCAMORE GROVE PARK
LARPD rangers and librarians from the Livermore Public Library will entertain families with children's books about nature and wildlife at a special Nature Storytime in Sycamore Grove Park. This free event will take place on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Reservable Picnic Area, 5035 Arroyo Road, Livermore, CA.
After the storytime, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the nearby creek and learn about local aquatic plants and animals. Participants are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that can get wet during the creek exploration. The creek bed is rocky, so for safety’s sake, sandals are not permitted in the pond. Children of all ages are welcome to attend this event. Registration is not required. For questions, please call 925-373-5504.
