EVENING GENTLE YOGA OFFERED AT THE LIVERMORE PUBLIC LIBRARY
Learn easy yoga postures and mindfulness techniques that can help manage stress. Evening Gentle Yoga workshops will be taught by local yoga instructor Madhavi Nadendla and held at the Livermore Civic Center Library on 1188 S. Livermore Avenue.
Evening Gentle Yoga sessions will be held at 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the following Thursdays:
• November 16, 2017
• November 30, 2017
• December 14, 2017
• December 21, 2017
• January 11, 2018
• January 18, 2018
All sessions are free and take place at the Civic Center Library Storytime Room. Sessions comprise of yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation.
No registration is required for this free program. Evening Gentle Yoga is open to adults and teens only. All participants must fill out a waiver. Teens under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by their parent or guardian. Waivers can be found here or at the Civic Center Library Youth Room information desk.
To get the most out of the yoga practice, participants are encouraged to come with an empty or a light stomach. Participants are also asked to wear loose fitting and comfortable clothing.
