THANKSGIVING MOVIE AND CRAFT AT RINCON LIBRARY
On Monday, November 20, 2017, the Rincon Library will host a Thanksgiving related program. At 3:00 p.m., “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will be shown. In this half hour special, the main character and his friends discover the true meaning of Thanksgiving. This show first aired in 1973, and it was created by Charles Schulz. Popcorn will be available free of charge to enjoy during the screening. After the show, starting at approximately 3:30 p.m., participants will have the opportunity to create a turkey centerpiece to decorate their Thanksgiving table. A sample craft will be provided, and the materials for the craft are provided free of charge. All ages are welcome at this program, and the film has been reviewed as suitable for ages 4 and up by commonsensemedia.org. Stay for just the show from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., stay for just the craft from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., or join us for the entire program.
