MARCH MADNESS AT THE LIVERMORE PUBLIC LIBRARY
Livermore teens in grades 6 through 12 are invited to vote for their favorite book of last year during the March Madness program at the Livermore Public Library. Librarians have chosen 16 popular young adult novels published in 2017. These books will face off against each other in a tournament bracket until one book is chosen as the best book of 2017. There will be weekly prize drawings for participants, so teens are encouraged to come back every week to vote.
Voting begins on Monday, March 5, 2018. Votes are tallied and the weekly drawing takes place every Monday starting March 12, 2018. Votes will be accepted at all library branches. One vote per person, per week. The last day to vote is Sunday, April 1, 2018. On April 2, 2018, three grand prize winners will be chosen. Grand prize winners may choose any available book up to a $15 value. New books will be ordered for the winners, who will be contacted when their prize is ready for pickup at the library.
