e-NABLE Hand-a-Thons


The Livermore Public Library along with Granada High School Senior Mannu Singhal will host two all day e-NABLE Hand-a-Thons during the month of February. These STEM workshops will take place on Saturday, February 10 and Saturday, February 17, and will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Civic Center Library, 1188 S. Livermore Ave. The workshops will be identical.
This opportunity is open to 6th – 8th graders interested in STEM, 3D-printing, and using tools. Snacks will be provided but participants will need to bring their own lunch. All assembly materials and instructions will be provided. Participants will gain problem solving skills, inspiration, and confidence. This is an interactive way to learn how engineering benefits humanity, and the prosthetic hands that are assembled at the Hand-a-Thons will actually be distributed by e-NABLE to those in need around the world.
