Evening Gentle Yoga at Livermore Public Library

Learn easy yoga postures and mindfulness techniques that can help manage stress. Taught by local yoga instructor Madhavi Nadendla, Evening Gentle Yoga sessions will be held at 7 pm to 8:30 pm on the following Thursdays:

  • March 15, 2018
  • April 19, 2018
  • May 17, 2018
  • June 14, 2018
  • July 19, 2018
  • August 16, 2018

All sessions are free and take place at the Civic Center Library Storytime Room. Sessions comprise of yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation. 

No registration is required for this free program. Evening Gentle Yoga is open to adults and teens only. All participants must fill out a waiver. Teens under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by their parent or guardian. Waivers can downloaded at the link below or picked up at the Civic Center Library Youth Room information desk.

To get the most out of the yoga practice, participants are encouraged to come with an empty or a light stomach. Participants are also asked to wear loose fitting and comfortable clothing. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat. However, a mat will be provided to those who do not have one.
