Cheza Nami will be at the Springtown Branch Library on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 10:30 am. Children will learn about African music, language, and culture in this musical performance. Audience participation will be encouraged.
The Cheza Nami Foundation is a local nonprofit organization that promotes cultural diversity in communities. According to their website, their goal is to “preserve and encourage the appreciation of African culture by inspiring and educating the American public about Africa’s extensive and unique attributes, regardless of their heritage of origin.”
The Springtown Branch of the Livermore Public Library is located at 998 Bluebell Drive. Patrons of all ages are welcome to attend this free event. No registration is required.
