Family Fort Night

The Livermore Public Library will host a Family Fort Night on Wednesday, July 18 from 6-8pm at the Civic Center Library.

Families with children of all ages are invited to the library to build their own blanket forts, sing campfire songs, make pretend campfires that really glow, and enjoy s’mores-style treats. Children will have the chance to read stories in their forts and play fun games. Attendees are asked to bring a sheet or blanket and a flashlight. This is a free event generously sponsored by The Friends of the Livermore Library.

The Livermore Public Library’s Summer Reading Program is a free program featuring special events and prizes for all ages. Scheduled events throughout the summer include storytimes, crafts, concerts, puppetry, and a wildlife presentation. For further information, pick up a 2018 Summer Reading Program calendar of events at any of the library’s three locations, check online, or call 925-373-5504.
