The Rincon Branch library is offering “Slime Time” with Nick and Nallely on Friday, January 18, from 3:15pm to 4:30 p.m.
Follow four different recipes to make Simple Slime, Super Slime, Glooze Slime, and Quicksand Slime. Find out what slime is made of by following a simple recipe and learn the science behind the slime you make. The slime recipe uses different combinations of ingredients to produce variations in appearance (shiny or smooth) and texture (squishy, sticky, stiff, or slippery) – changing how each slime looks and feels.
Call it a science project or just call it fun. Participants will go home with slime, and all recipes, including a description of the science behind slime. This activity is for ages 7 and up.
