The Livermore Public Library is hosting a March Madness program starting on Monday, March 4, 2019 and running until Sunday, March 31, 2019.
Librarians have chosen 16 excellent young adult books that were published in 2018. These books have been arranged in a tournament-style bracket. Teens will vote every week for their favorite books until the best book of 2018 is chosen in week four. There will be a weekly drawing for prizes. All eligible teen votes will be entered into the prize drawing.
Teens in grades 6-12 may vote once per week. Voting begins on March 4, 2019. Votes are tallied and the weekly drawing takes place every Wednesday starting March 13, 2019. The last day to vote is Sunday, March 31, 2019. Grand prize winners may choose any available book up to a $15 value. New books will be ordered for the winners, who will be contacted when their prize is ready for pickup at the library.
