EARLY LEARNING CLASSES AT THE LIVERMORE PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Livermore Public Library will offer a variety of children’s early learning classes this winter and spring. Children and caregivers will enjoy stories and activities designed to encourage the development of early learning practices. Exploring literacy, science and math through music, stories, and play will help children get ready for school. Sessions run from January 6 to May 31, 2020. Library early learning classes are drop-in and free of charge.
Sing and Learn Babies – Babies from birth to 12 months with caregiver enjoy songs, action rhymes, and playtime, and share a book together in each lively session. This class gives your baby the opportunity to hear lots of language while you get to know other young families.

Stories and Songs - Bring your little ones out to enjoy stories, songs, and movement activities that support early literacy skill development and help foster a love of books and reading in your child. Perfect for ages 1-5, but everyone is welcome.

Music and Movement - Enjoy songs and movement activities that build motor and social skills, and increase independence as well as language development in your child. We'll use shakers, bean bags, scarves, and other items to move to the music and keep the beat! Perfect for ages 1-5, but everyone is welcome.

Cuentos y Canciones - The Livermore Public Library is starting a new weekly Spanish language Stories and Songs class beginning on February 3, 2020. Families can enjoy stories, songs, and movement activities that support early literacy skill development and help foster a love of books and reading in children. The class is taught in Spanish, free of charge. No registration is required.
