The National Citizen Survey (NCS) is a collaborative effort between National Research Center, Inc. and the International City/County Management Association. The NCS was developed to provide a statistically valid survey of resident opinions about community and services provided by local government. In Livermore, the NCS is taken every two years, and the results are used by staff and elected officials for community planning, resource allocation, program improvement and policy making. Here are links to the surveys taken 2014, 2012, 2010 and 2008. The City of Livermore won the 2015 Voice of the People Award from the National Research Center for the 2014 results.
