| | | Notices and PublicationsImportant Notice: Runway Overlay and Service Road Realignment Project
The scheduled project to deliver a brand new main runway surface with new runway markings has been temporarily delayed. However, once underway, the project will require the closure of Runway 7L-25R for 12 consecutive days. Although VFR Runway 7R-25L will remain open, this 2,700-foot runway is not lit for night operations, so please be prepared to plan your departures and arrivals accordingly. Larger aircraft unable to use the shorter VFR runway will need to make temporary arrangements at another airport. Nationwide NOTAM's will be issued accordingly. Contact Airport Operations Supervisor, Justin Drinkwater, at (925) 373-5390 for further information.
Skylight Replacement Project
Livermore Airport Staff will be starting the south hangar skylight replacement project the beginning of March 2012. The existing translucent skylight panels are approaching the end of their useful life and will be replaced with a solid steel panel. Airport Staff will coordinate with hangar tenants in moving aircraft to enable the skylight replacement. Frequent updates via web posting, email and/or telephone are forthcoming.
