Livermore Municipal Water, in cooperation with Tri-Valley water wholesaler Zone 7 Water Agency, currently offers rebates as an incentive to residential, multi-family and commercial customers to replace toilets using 3.5 gallons or more per flush with high-efficiency toilets using 1.28 gallons or less per flush. Older toilets use as much as 7 gallons per flush. Upgrade the old toilet in your home by installing a new high-efficiency toilet and you may qualify for a rebate. The High Efficiency Toilet Rebate program will be ending December 31, 2016. Updates to the plumbing code have been improved over the past several years requiring increasing water efficient products and practices. The plumbing code will soon only allow 1.28 gallons-per-flush toilets to be sold in the market. Applications for qualifying high-efficiency toilets purchased and installed on or before December 31, 2016 must be mailed and postmarked by March 1, 2017. Purchases after December 31, 2016, or applications received after March 1, 2017, will not be eligible for a rebate.

Livermore Municipal Water is participating with Tri-Valley water wholesaler Zone 7 Water Agency and the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) to offer rebates on the purchase of qualifying models of high efficiency washing machines.
