Vacancies on the Livermore Area Youth Advisory Commission

ABOUT THE COMMISSION:
The Youth Advisory Commission promotes youth involvement in the Livermore community and supports communication between the elected leaders and the young people in the area. The Commission creates a forum for ideas and concerns and provides a vehicle for the interests and needs of youth to be communicated to the City Council and to the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District.
The Commission consists of fifteen youths (ages 12-20), preferably attending Livermore schools, and three non-voting adult members. Youth members who attend Livermore schools are not required to be residents of the City of Livermore; adult members must be residents. Overall, members shall represent the diversity of the population of Livermore.
Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Robert Livermore Community Center at 4444 East Avenue, Livermore, CA. The December meeting has been moved to December 9th.
