Livermore Has It All for Stage 7 of the Amgen Tour of California

Livermore is the place to be on Saturday, May 18th as it hosts the Stage 7 start, a course pass-through and the fun, family-friendly Finish Festival. 

 10:00 am – Team buses begin to arrive downtown on M, N and O Streets. Visitors can meet and mingle with the riders.

 10:00 am – The Breakaway from Cancer parade walk begins at 3rd and K Streets.  Celebrate Livermore’s Cancer Champion, Dee Williams, and other local participants as they complete their walk.  For more information about this organization, visit www.breakawayfromcancer.com.

11:35 am – Stage 7 begins at Carnegie Park at 3rd and K Streets with a parade loop along 3rd St., P St., and First St., a left-turn on Livermore Avenue, and then off to Morgan Territory Road for a ride through the hills and countryside.

Approximately 2:00 – 2:30 pm – The riders return for a pass-through coming over Patterson Pass Road, Cross Road, Tesla Road, and along the entire length of Livermore Avenue, under Interstate-580 and off to Mt. Diablo. 

10:00 am – 4:30 pm – The Stage 7 “Finish Festival” occurs in downtown Livermore – 2nd, J and K Streets --  due to the limited space at the peak of Mt. Diablo!  Have fun visiting the vendor booths, music, food and activities.  Watch the Mt. Diablo finish on big screen TVs from 2- 4 pm.
