Livermore residents are invited to the “State of the City” Town Hall meeting at the Livermore Public Library Civic Center Storytime Room on Thursday, October 5, 2017. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the presentation begins promptly at 7:00 pm.
Mayor John Marchand will present his sixth community address which highlights topics related to Livermore’s high quality-of-life. In the November 2016 National Citizen Survey, 96% of resident respondents rated Livermore as an excellent or good place to live while 93% indicated that Livermore’s quality-of-life fell into those categories – the highest rating for this measure since the early 2000’s.
“The annual Town Hall meeting is another opportunity to inform and engage residents,” stated Mayor Marchand. A question and answer session follows his presentation. Please call the City Manager’s Office at 925-960-4040 with questions about the event. The Livermore Public Library Civic Center is located at 1188 South Livermore Avenue.
