Armchair Travelers ~ Cuba: Colorful and Confusing

CUBA: COLORFUL AND CONFUSING

ARMCHAIR TRAVELERS, a monthly program, will take place at the Livermore Public Library Civic Center on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH at 1:30 p.m. Richard Finn will present a slideshow entitled “Cuba: Colorful and Confusing.” Earlier this year Richard traveled with a Foundation to Cuba on a People-to-People Program. He will share memories and photographs of his interesting trip to this very colorful yet confusing island only miles from the shores of the United States that is a mix of communism and capitalism.  Richard will tell of the bus journey from Camaguey to Havana and about some of the towns and villages visited along the way.

Adults are invited to this free program on the second Thursday of each month in the Community Meeting Rooms of the Civic Center Library, 1188 S. Livermore Avenue, Livermore. For additional information please call 925-373-5500.
