College Confidential Panel Discussion

COLLEGE CONFIDENTIAL PANEL DISCUSSION AT THE LIVERMORE PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Livermore Public Library is hosting College Confidential, a panel discussion where three current college students will share a candid talk on college life. A question and answer session will follow the discussion. This event will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Civic Center Library, 1188 S. Livermore Avenue.

Registration is not required for this free event. To ensure an environment where teens feel comfortable asking questions, this event is open only to students in high school or community college. Any student who does not wish to ask in person may write down their anonymous question and drop it in the College Confidential Question Box, available 12/1/17 through 12/30/17 at all three library branches. At the presentation, the panelists will answer as many of these questions as they can, time permitting.

Panelists include Stephanie Hollister, child development major and senior at CSU Sacramento; Joseph Merrill, physics major and sophomore at Las Positas College; and Charlotte Miranda, environmental earth and soil science major and freshman at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. For questions or more information, please call Teen Programming Librarian Caitlyn Lung at 925-373-5576.
