Armchair Travelers - Cycling the East Coast of Tasmania

CYCLING THE EAST COAST OF TASMANIA

ARMCHAIR TRAVELERS, a monthly program, will take place at the Livermore Public Library Civic Center on THURSDAY, JANUARY 11TH at 1:30 p.m. International cyclist Dan Moore will present “Cycling the East Coast of Tasmania,” a slideshow of his nine-day March 2017 tour of Tasmania. The ride included stays in Hobart, Triabunna, Freycinet State Park, St. Helens, Scottsdale, and Launceston. Dan will share photographs of animals unique to this island state off Australia’s south coast, including the famous Tasmanian devil, the echidna, the quoll, the wombat, the bandicoot, several species of parrots and snakes. Find out why there are four world heritage sites in this smallest state of Australia.
