Teen Program: Virtual Reality Pictionary

VIRTUAL REALITY PICTIONARY AT THE LIVERMORE PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Livermore Public Library is hosting a Virtual Reality (VR) Pictionary program for teens on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. at the Civic Center Library, 1188 South Livermore Avenue. The Livermore Public Library owns one Oculus Rift VR headset. With this headset attendees will play a game of VR Pictionary. The person controlling the headset will be tasked with drawing a picture and the people in the audience will attempt to guess the subject of the drawing. Complete game rules and supplies will be provided.

Registration is not required for this free event. Students in grades 6 through 12 are welcome to attend. However, participants must be aged 13 or older in order to use the VR headset. The library cannot guarantee that all attendees will get a turn to use the headset.  Headset users will be chosen by random drawing from qualified attendees who have arrived by 2:05 p.m. For more information, contact Teen Programming Librarian Caitlyn Lung at 925-373-5576.
