This building, first opened in May of 1911. Until 1966, this was the City of Livermore’s Library. The building is also being shared by the Livermore Heritage Guild and Livermore Art Association since 1974. Ravenswood Historic Site
The Ravenswood Historic Site is one of Livermore’s historical landmarks. Built by Christopher A. Buckley Sr., who is known as “Blind Boss” of San Francisco politics in the 1870s and 1880s. Ravenswood Historic Site is also one of the larger early vineyards in the Livermore Valley. Come and visit this lovely 1885-era Victorian country estate in Livermore! The Duarte Garage & Lincoln Highway Museum
Interested in antique and classic automobiles? Well, the Duarte Garage & Lincoln Highway Museum is the place for you. The Duarte Garage & Lincoln Highway Museum, which was built in 1915 by F.H. Livermore Municipal Airport, considered as the Gateway to the Tri-Valley, is home to over 600 aircraft which includes Military/Warbirds, Antique/Classic, Experimental/Homebuilt, and Aerobatic type aircraft. Every year Livermore Municipal Airport has an open house which showcases a variety of aircrafts as well as an aerial performance. They also offer group tours! Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s Discovery Center is a great place to learn more about the Laboratory’s history as well as explore the various displays of Science and Technology.
