Established in 1986, the Livermore Public Library's Literacy Program pairs adults who want to improve their basic reading and writing skills with trained volunteer tutors. The results can be positively life-changing for both the adult learner and the tutor. Since its inception, over 4,000 adults have been served by the program. | |
