Dr. Manish Saggar, an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine, will give a Zoom presentation, titled Meditation: Healing Time, on Thursday, August 12, 2021, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Dr. Saggar will discuss how meditation can improve one’s physical and mental health. During this program, attendees will have a chance to practice a simple meditation technique to help reduce stress, enhance relaxation, and promote inner growth.
This program is part of the Library’s Adult Summer Reading Program, sponsored by the Friends of the Livermore Library. Color Your World with the Adult Summer Reading Program! Individuals aged 18 and over are invited to participate in a fun-filled summer reading program. This year’s game encourages reading, exploration, and learning. Participants who complete the challenge by August 12th will earn entry into a grand prize drawing for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to a local restaurant or business.
