The Livermore Public Library is excited to announce the launch of its new and improved online catalog. The new catalog makes searching the Library’s collections easier than ever, with support for natural language, auto-complete suggestions, and “did you mean” functionality. Featuring a modern design, simple navigation, and the ability to create and share content, the new catalog is designed to help users search, discover, borrow, and connect. The new catalog also allows patrons to interact with library staff, create themed lists, review books, and share recommendations with the library community. “I’m thrilled we’re able to take this step forward. The new catalog offers major improvements to our community, delivering a better search experience and making the online catalog a destination for interacting with the Library’s collections and each other” Nathan Brumley, Interim Library Services Director, said in a statement.
