As part of this summer’s Teen Summer Reading Program, teens are invited to stop by any of the three branches of Livermore Public Library in July to look at the Book-in-a-Jar! A book has been cut up, line by line, and placed in a glass jar. Based on what they can see of the text, teens must guess the correct title and author.
Entries may be completed at the library from Thursday, July 1, 2021, through Saturday, July 31, 2021. One entry per teen in grades 6 through 12. A drawing will be held on August 2 from the correct entries. Ten lucky winners will receive a snack pack containing tasty treats and a fancy bookmark.
To look at the book-in-a-jar, teens may visit any of the Livermore Public Library branches: Civic Center at 1188 South Livermore Avenue, Rincon at 725 Rincon Avenue, or Springtown at 998 Bluebell Drive.
