Celebrate Earth Day with the City of Livermore!

Earth Day is coming up next Thursday, April 22nd! Although COVID-19 prevents us from organizing large events this year, we can still take action for the Earth from our homes. The City of Livermore is sponsoring three virtual events next week designed to help you reduce your water and plastic use. Space for these events is limited, so register today!

“The Story of Plastic” Virtual Film Screening
Register by Monday, April 19th

The City of Livermore is hosting a free virtual screening of the documentary "The Story of Plastic" to spread awareness of the environmental threat of plastic pollution. After registering, attendees will receive an emailed link to stream the film anytime between April 20th and 27th. Additionally, attendees will be invited to participate in a live virtual Q&A with the filmmaker on Earth Day, April 22nd. Register to participate here

Grow Food the Waterwise Way Webinar
Thursday, April 22nd at 4:00 p.m.

Celebrate Earth Day by learning how to grow food with a waterwise approach! In this webinar, gardening expert Suzanne Bontempo will share techniques and strategies for growing an abundance of food for a season-long harvest while using less water.
